One of the simple moments that always makes me smile is when I first see my kiddos after school. It makes me feel like I must be doing something right when their faces light up when they first spot their mama in the crowd. A little later the homework struggles and sibling squabbles begin. :) But for a brief moment, all is well, and we are just glad to be together again.
On this day, my elementary duo was REALLY happy to see me, because it was POURING rain! They only walked a block to get to the car but they were soaked. I thought they looked a little like drowned rats-- CUTE drowned rats.
